Magda O’Doherty, CFA

Magda is an accomplished finance professional with over 15 years of experience in global wealth and asset management. She has held senior leadership roles at J.P. Morgan Asset Management in New York and London, where she worked across all major asset classes including equities, fixed income, multi-asset, and alternative investments. Her responsibilities spanned risk management, product development, and operational strategy, partnering with investment and distribution teams to support clients’ financial goals.

Before joining J.P. Morgan, she held various roles with leading financial institutions in Paris and London, including BNP Paribas Insurance and Bank of New York Mellon.

Originally from Paris, Magda holds a master’s degree in Economics and a postgraduate degree in Banking, Finance, and Insurance from Université Paris-Dauphine. Magda is a CFA charterholder, a designation that represents both advanced technical investment knowledge and a strong commitment to ethical and client-first principles in wealth management.

Now based in Connecticut with her husband, daughter, and their furry companions, Magda is passionate about financial literacy and helping individuals and families make informed, confident financial decisions that improve their long-term well-being.
